Trying to Organize

I'm sorry that I've neglected my blog for a few days. I've been trying to organize my house and life more. Part of my Spring ritual is listing all of Angry Toddler's clothing on e-bay. So I organized it all last week and I did pretty good. I only had one tote full, which I usually have two to three.

I got all ready to start typing up my auctions the other night. I just couldn't do it. I decided to subscribe to a Buy-Sell-Trade on a parenting forum. I spent all day on Thursday listing everything and pricing it just right.

I had such memories of last year going through the outfits. I remembered the events that we attending, and the places we went. I may not have the clothes anymore, but we always have our memories in the photographs. I don't save any of Angry Toddler's clothes, except for some small things, like Birthday shirts.

In April, we went to Legoland for the first time. We had never been there and Angry Toddler was soo excited.

Hanging out at The Little Gym in Stacey's office. She sent me this photo. I had never seen it and never even knew she took it.
Or, the many Disneyland trips. We purchased Season Passes last year and it was one of the best decisions that we made. Angry Toddler loves going to Disneyland.

I've got almost 1/2 of my goodies sold. Which mades me very happy. My gardener will be happy too. I'm using the funds that I've made to pay him.

I encourage everyone to use e-bay, Craigslist, or other parenting forums. You might have something in your house that someone is looking for.

Presidential Cabbage Patch Kids

Auction Cause has (4) Special Edition Presidential Cabbage Patch Kids on e-bay right now. 100% of the profits goes to the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

They have McCain, Obama, Palin, and Biden.

I saw these on e-bay's main page this morning.

Just thought I would share!

Holiday Wear

I got addicted to custom clothing about 2 years ago, because of my pal, Londie. I loved all the cute Holiday-themed things we got. Unfortunately, Angry Toddler has become quite picky now that he's 3. Also, it seems that the customs that I purchased before have come quite expensive.

Manisha posted a comment the other day on my blog asking if I had gotten Angry Toddler any special custom tees for the Holidays. Actually, I have. My BFF and gal pal, Stacey, called me the other day. She told me that the children's boutique near her business was having a sale. She called for my approval. Ha, which is funny, cause she totally knows my taste. She picked up two tees from the brand, Haute Boyz. They are a local brand, right out of the O.C. I first heard of Haute Boyz when I went to the Junior League's Christmas Company, a few years ago. I love their stuff.

Here are the shirts that Stacey picked up for Angry Toddler.

A Little Skin

I have a Blackberry Curve. It's just plain ole' silver and black cellphone. I love my cellphone, but there's "kick" to it. It's kinda plain and boring. Right now, I have a navy blue skin on it.

I thought I would purchase some new ones to spice things up a bit. I went on e-bay and purchased these tonight. I can't wait to get them in the mail.

October 1st

Today is October 1st. It's truly a happy time for us here in the Angry Household. I love Fall. I especially love all the Holidays that come with it. Right now we are gearing towards Halloween first. Angry Toddler keeps changing him mind on what he wants to be for Halloween. Two months ago, it was Darth Vader, this week it's a Storm Trooper from Star Wars.

So far, I bought him a Gymboree Army costume on e-bay. I always have 2-3 costumes for him, cause he changes his mind so much. But we also have several events to attend while wearing costumes, so we get our use out of it.

Angry Toddler keeps asking me what I am going to be now. Umm, I'm going to be The Momma. Ha!

Anyway, I thought I would post some cute pictures of Halloween past.

E-Bay Hell

I've been working on Fall Auctions of Angry Toddler's Clothing for the past two days. I'm soo sick of typing up descriptions and taking pictures. You would think that when I do this every six months, I would shop less? Nope, I think I shop more and spend more than I ever have.

The kid has two wardrobes: school clothes and home clothes, plus he has some special occasion clothes too. Hopefully, I can get these listings up tonight.

It will help in my cleaning the office, which is still messy by the way.

Next time, I'm going to use an e-bay trading assistant like my friend, Tamara. Tamara did my friend Londie's auctions, and they rocked.

You hear that, Tamara!! I'm sending my Spring/Summer stuff to you!

Shameless Spam aka E-Bay

I am sorry that I've been neglecting my blogging friends. I have been working on a project. It's a special project that I do twice a year. I've listed my son's Spring/Summer clothing on e-bay.

By doing this, it helps me support my shopping habit. So if you have a son who wears an 18/24 or 2T, click on the linkee below....

Angry Julie Monday's Auctions

I will back to my regular blogging within the next few days, after I'm done stalking my auctions....

I'm also on vacation, so maybe I can think of some things to blog about too.

Owls are HOT for Kid's Clothes Right Now

For some unknown reason, owls are the big thing for children's clothing this Fall. If you look at any of these sites; Gymboree, babyGap, Boden, you will see them.

I've really gotten into buying custom clothing for Angry Toddler in the past year. All these wonderful sellers on e-bay make awesome designs. I really love how every piece is unique and different.

One of my online buddies, Lindsay, designed this awesome custom woodpecker/owl tee for boy's. It seems that the girls always get the cutest designs by the big manufacturers. I instantly saw the tee and said, "Wow".

Lindsay has been doing custom outfits for over a year now. Her designs just keep getting more and more spectacular. Her e-bay id is fancy*pants*customs.

I love to spam my friends!

It's a Bling Thing

Bling shirts are very popular right now. They are all the rage for little girls. It might be a good thing that I have a boy. I think they are all soo cute! These tees are made with high quality Swarovski crystals.

My gal pal, Stacie, makes these custom shirts and sells them on e-bay. She comes up with the designs all on her own. She also makes mommy shirts too.

I just wanted to post about this, cause I wanted to give Stacie a "shout-out" on her talent!!

Speaking of E-Bay.....SPAM

AH has gotten himself into a variety of "hobbies". The latest hobby, umm like 8 months ago, was remote controlled helicopters. He went and sold all his Paintball Guns (yet, another expensive hobby). He then purchased his remote control helicopter and all the pretty shiny things that go with it. His best friend, Eric, also bought a helicopter, go figure..

AH didn't have much time to put into his helicopter hobby, so alas the helicopter sat in the garage along with all the other neglected "hobby" items.

AH is VERY into our saltwater fish tank lately. I'm actually not opposed to this hobby. Angry Toddler loves looking at all the shishes aka fish. AH spends all his time looking at the Saltwater fish forums, websites, pictures...magazines..you name it.

So AH had me list "The Helicopter on E-bay" last night. Here's a linkey...to the auction, if you want a semi-put together helicopter...

Selling on E-Bay

I've been selling on e-bay for about 5 years. I call it my online garage sale. I truly love e-bay. It's my homepage on my computer. I use it daily. I can find all kinds of things on that site.

Word has gotten around work that I peddle my goods on e-bay. I don't go around broadcasting, but people know.

I had a co-worker approach me the other day. He said, "so, I hear you sell on e-bay.". I told him yes, I did. He told me that his wife wanted to start selling on e-bay. He asked me how to sell. I giggled. I showed him one of my auctions. He was quite impressed. He wanted to know how "to do it", "sell stuff on e-bay", "ship", "paypal and the whole works". I was like, umm I could spend 10 hours explaining the whole process.

You never realize how much you know about a subject when you are trying to explain it to someone else. How you started at the beginning and worked your way up. How far you've come from the start.

I told one of my friends. I said co-worker asked me how to sell on e-bay. She just laughed. Because she knows, it's not that easy to do well on e-bay. It takes some work.

I guess I can say that this is one thing I'm pretty good at. So when people ask what I'm good at, I can say, e-baying.
