I will let you know about my dirty little secret.
The Angry Toddler is not potty trained yet. YES, I know he turned 3 in May. Well of course, everyone around me had a potty trained kid that's younger than AT. But seriously, he is very stubborn. I swear we are soo bad at potty training in our house. Even our dogs are not fully trained, here's your sign.
Anyway, I got sat down by the Supervisor at Angry Toddler's school on Wednesday. She wanted to talk to me about AT along with his teacher. They asked about how AT was progressing with his potty training. Well people, umm, he's with you, umm let's see, 5 days a week. Wouldn't you know? SERIOUSLY.
I told them that he was doing pretty good and when they switched teachers in early July, he completely regressed. His behavior was really bad too. He's finally getting back on track though. He's having awesome days at school and his behavior is pretty good too.
They told me to put him in underwear for school on Thursday and we would start our little "Potty Training Bootcamp". He did really good on Thursday at school, no accidents. But he had a poop accident, Thursday night. Poor Angry Husband had to clean it up since I was working.
The past weekend he's done pretty good. AH had to put him in a pull up yesterday though, cause he got tired of cleaning up poop. The kid won't poop in the toilet. He's just soo stubborn.
Hopefully, we will have a good week ahead of us with training. It's a good thing that he's at school the next few days, they can really work with him.
This just really sucks. I wish I could just pay someone to come and train him. Seriously!!
Wish me luck!
oh, and...
P.S. Rewards don't work with him. We've tried candy, bribes, you name it.

Big News with Angry Toddler
When I went to pick up Angry Toddler last night, one of his teachers advised me to bring pull-ups today to school. She said, "He goes in the toilet every time, you should have done this weeks ago." Umm, ya, just tell me.
I discussed it with some friends, and alot of people are anti-pull-ups. But I'm not the one cleaning up his mistakes, his teachers are. If they want pull-ups, they get pull-ups.
He wore pull-ups all night last night and did great with the potty.
And just think, about 2 weeks ago, I was bitching about the price of diapers.

Dear Angry Toddler
I know that you are 33 months old now. Which to most people means, you're almost 3. You are a big boy now. But there is one thing, you have not mastered....the potty. Angry Toddler could you please learn to use the potty. You are wearing a size 7 diaper now. Did you know how hard it is to find these diapers?
Mommy went to two Targets today to look for diapers for you. She finally found them and bought the last 3 packages that they had. Umm, these should last maybe a week?
Plus, mommy loves Target and she spent another $75 in addition to the diapers that she did not have to.
Maybe we could make this your birthday goal? We have 3 months still?

This made me friggin' laugh sooo hard...
So my son is trying to potty train himself. The kid won't keep his clothes on and hates wearing diapers lately. It is a constant struggle in my house. Soo much, that my mother called me shrieking this morning. She and my dad are about to quit... My parents can't even handle the stripping child. My dad is 5 steps away from a nervous breakdown.
So I was on my lovely morning of lurking on my message forums. I came across this Japanese video. It is hilarious. It is English subtitled. But oh my, funny...
Ok, I had to add another potty video. This is from an episode of The Family Guy.
