In March, I was contacted by Ecostore USA about doing a review and giveaway of their products. I told them that I would be definitely interested in participating. They sent me three products which I requested to review, the Front Loader Laundry Powder, the Toilet Cleaner, and the Citrus Spray Cleaner. I did not do the review/giveaway right away because I had conflicting issues with my advertising network for my blog. The issues have been resolved since I cancelled the network.
I have used all of these products that we sent to me. They are truly great products. I think my favorite is the Front Loader Laundry Powder. I was very intimidated by the small box that it came in, it was about the same size as a box of crackers. There was also a teeny scoop inside the box. It is good for 32 washes. I will have to say that I've been using the powder for over a month now and I still have about 1/4 of the box left. I usually go through 2 boxes of my name brand laundry detergent in a month. The box is about 2 times the size of Ecostore's. I'm very impressed and it's well worth the money.

Mmmmm, I love the smell of oranges, so I'd LOVE to try the Citrus Spray!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I recently bought some green laundry detergenct in a biodegradable bottle...so I'm on my way to being green!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Citrus Spray Cleaner sounds good! We are super green...minus the car I drive. We recycle like mad, use eco-friendly grocery bags, and I don't even buy paper towels b/c they waste so much. Doing everything we can!
ReplyDeleteI still use Ecostore USA products for my family. The baby shampoo makes my son's hair so soft and I just like to breathe in the wonderful smell!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Baby Wash and the Toilet Cleaner. I've been looking for a non-bleach method of cleaning the toilet.
ReplyDeleteWe have done a ton to go green. At home we used bamboo flooring, we turn off all non-essential equipment completely (your tv is still ueses power even when it's off) by putting things on surge protectors. It's worked. Our power bill went down by about 50% when we started doing this. We even put in a garden, in a condo with no yard so we can get our own herbs. At work we don't turn on all the lights, we turn off all computers and have the thermostat programed and we recycle of course. We also use Meyer's Cleaning products which I love. They are biodegradeble and completly eco friendly. I would love to try the Citrus spray cleaner and the toilet cleaner at work and the laundry liquid at home.
ReplyDeletethe Citrus spray would make my day!
ReplyDeleteGoing green is ALL THE RAGE/normal in Oregon! :)
I love the METHOD cleaning products (found at Target)... and I always am sure to bring my REUSABLE grocery bags... there are some REALLY cute ones out there now!
Happy Green!
I would love to try the laundry powder. I just replaced my washer and dryer with front loading ones. We recycle as much as possible, we each have several re-fillable water bottles, I try not to use plastic bags for storage and reuse them when I receive them from someone else.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Citrus Spray Cleaner.

I'm taking the plunge and "going green" by cloth diapering my daughter. I was convinced that it much better for the environment, after reading what is in a Pampers diaper. :-) I would absolutely love to try the laundry detergent - it will really help with the tons of laundry I have!
ReplyDeleteThe citrus spray looks good to me.

I would love the citrus spray.
ReplyDeleteI have made the commitment to making sure that I am using only reusable totes at the grocery store!
I would like to try the laundry detergent.
ReplyDeleteI always use my reuseable grocery bags when shopping and often times when I'm picking up a couple of things from the convience store I will refuse a plastic bag and carry it out to my car.

I would love to try out the detergent. I am a cloth diapering momma (so there is one way I work to go "green") and it would be great to use an environmentally friendly detergent as well.
ReplyDeleteWhew! Just made your cutoff! I have a front-loader and would love to try that laundry powder! I'm always looking for new green-cleaning products, esp. b/c my next-door neighbor is a green cleaner extraordinaire.
