V
You like my one letter title today? Why one letter?"V" is a re-imagining of the 1980's miniseries about the world's first encounter with an alien race in which the aliens call themselves The Visitors, and have a seemingly friendly agenda that may or may not be a cover for something more malevolent. "V" stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans, Morris Chestnut as Ryan Nichols, Joel Gretsch as Father Jack Landry, Lourdes Benedicto as Valerie Stevens, Logan Huffman as Tyler Evans, Laura Vandervoort as Lisa, with Morena Baccarin as Anna and Scott Wolf as Chad Decker. The series is produced by HDFilms in association with Warner Bros. Television. Scott Peters is executive producer/writer and Steve Pearlman and Jason Hall are executive producers. The pilot was directed and executive produced by Yves Simoneau. (ABC/DAVID GRAY) LOGAN HUFFMAN, LAURA VANDERVOORT, CHRISTOPHER SHYER.
Do you remember when "V" originally aired on NBC in 1983? I do. I was only eight years old, when I saw it. But it stuck in my head forever. The geek in me, silently shrieked when I saw the previews. Who would have thought that I would have married a nerd? And that he was excited for this too.
It starts tonight on ABC. Check your local listings for the time.

OC Family..another place to stalk me
Last month, I was contacted by Suzanne Broughton, from Alive in Wonderland. She was putting together a team of Orange County Moms to blog for OC Family. She was joining them as their lead blogger and wanted some fellow mom bloggers to join the fun. I agreed to join in the blogging fun.I've already written a few stories, but was a little shy about posting on it here. I finally decided to pull the trigger and post tonight. Especially since I opened their website very early this morning, to see my big ole' mug plastered right on the top of the page. I had to take a a screen shot, cause I'm blogger, and we do stuff like that.
So be sure to check out OC Family's Website, in the center section for my usual antics, sarcasm, drama, and pictures, of course. I'm going to try and make this blog more Orange County related, with some of my randomness in between. I will posting there a few times a week, so be sure to check back often.
And if you want to read/comment and/or stalk the posts I've written so far, well check out Angry Julie Monday on OC Family's Mom Blogs.
Oh, and I keep saying "Mom Blogs", but we can't forget about Adam, our token "Dad Blogger", or as he likes to call himself, "Reluctant Stay-At-Home Dad".
The fabulous picture was taken by JJ (Jen Johnson) of Jen Johnson Photography.

I Was Such a Baby, What Happened?
My parents had Angry Toddler overnight on Halloween. Angry Husband and I both had to work early this morning. We had an exciting night of putting together our new kitchen table, eating pizza, and handing out candy to greedy teenagers from our garage. My mom said that Angry Toddler had a blast and that they took him to a local neighborhood. We had already done Disneyland twice this month, the Pumpkin Patch, and a school party, I'm ok with not trick or treating on Halloween night. Does that make me a horrible parent? I hope not. So that is why you won't see any trick or treating pictures from us, because sigh, my mom still can't work her digital camera after two years.
But I've been trying to organize things on my desktop. I had some new/old Halloween pictures on there from this post. YIKES!!!! What happened to me? I found a picture from 2005, where Angry Toddler was five months old. I was 29. I compared it to this year's picture. It looks like I've aged ten years! I think I have aged for the better, for the most part, but yikes, scary to see in pictures...my youth, oh my youth!
