V

You like my one letter title today? Why one letter?

"V" is a re-imagining of the 1980's miniseries about the world's first encounter with an alien race in which the aliens call themselves The Visitors, and have a seemingly friendly agenda that may or may not be a cover for something more malevolent. "V" stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans, Morris Chestnut as Ryan Nichols, Joel Gretsch as Father Jack Landry, Lourdes Benedicto as Valerie Stevens, Logan Huffman as Tyler Evans, Laura Vandervoort as Lisa, with Morena Baccarin as Anna and Scott Wolf as Chad Decker. The series is produced by HDFilms in association with Warner Bros. Television. Scott Peters is executive producer/writer and Steve Pearlman and Jason Hall are executive producers. The pilot was directed and executive produced by Yves Simoneau. (ABC/DAVID GRAY) LOGAN HUFFMAN, LAURA VANDERVOORT, CHRISTOPHER SHYER.

Do you remember when "V" originally aired on NBC in 1983? I do. I was only eight years old, when I saw it. But it stuck in my head forever. The geek in me, silently shrieked when I saw the previews. Who would have thought that I would have married a nerd? And that he was excited for this too.

It starts tonight on ABC. Check your local listings for the time.

Late Night TV Watching

I was up late last night, because I had a soda way too late. I had to watch "Glee", of course. I'm quite obsessed with that show. I know that I'm not the only one, because everyone was talking about it on Twitter last night. I was on the couch, and Angry Toddler was snoring in my ear. I was too involved with Glee to move him.

After Glee was over, my TV automatically popped over to "Toddlers and Tiaras". Yes, I DVR it. I like a good trainwreck every now and then. That's why I watch this show. I usually don't have time to watch it, before it somehow gets deleted, but I was up. I think this was the most obnoxious episode ever. Parents were throwing a fit, because their daughters weren't doing the moves and gestures that they wanted them too. The Pageant Moms were getting pissed if another mom helped their child. Everyone was just plain ole' bitchy. They (the moms) say that they all do this because their daughters want to, and if they (the daughters) want to quit, they can. But these moms, and even some dads looked like they were WAY too involved in all of this. $900-$1500 for a dress? Yea, it makes me thankful that I have a boy, and we don't do "activities" like this.

And since, I was still up. I watched two episodes of "I Didn't Know I was Pregnant". I just watched all these women, in awe. Seriously, how could you not know. I'm sorry, but I knew I was definitely pregnant at four weeks. And even though, I was chunky, and had lost over fifteen pounds during my pregnancy, there was no doubt I was pregnant. The one woman came into the hospital and complained of pains. The baby slid down her pant leg. I think that was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen. Yet, I keep watching.

Oh, yea, I have a ton of stuff on my DVR, but I sacrificed some of my usual programs for this. Now I know why I don't stay up late and watch random stuff on TV. Because it's just plain random.

The Hills

I was catching up on my TV shows via the Internet last night at work. I had missed two episodes of MTV's "The Hills" . Apparently my DVR at home did not tape them. MTV has a pretty good viewer online. Actually, I think it is one of the better sites to view full episodes. Usually there are no breaks in the shows, and they don't lock up.

I'm really getting sick of the "The Hills". It is truely a train wreck. They attempt to call this a reality show, but I don't think there's much reality to it. Seriously, it's really really bad acting.

Everyone is starting to get on my nerves. It seems like they "set-up" the people to be in certain situations. It's like, today, we are going to talk about "this topic", etc. I can't stand Heidi and Spencer. They are the most fake people on that show. Does anyone actually work? Besides the fake jobs that MTV created for these people.

I still do love Lauren Conrad though. She has let fame go to her head, but I feel in love with her when she was on Laguna Beach. Boy has she changed from her high school days.
